Anne Rooney

Anne Rooney has a PhD in English from the University of Cambridge. She is the author of many books for children and adults, specialising in science and technology topics.

David Salariya

David Salariya was born in Dundee, Scotland. He has illustrated a wide range of books and has created and designed many new series for publishers both in the UK and overseas. In 1989, he established the Salariya Book Company. He lives in Brighton with his wife, illustrator Shirley Willis, and their son Jonathan.

Mark Bergin

Mark Bergin studied at Eastbourne College of Art and has specialised in historical reconstructions, aviation, and maritime subjects for over twenty years. He lives in Bexhill-on-Sea with his wife and three children.

Dave Antram

David Antram was born in Brighton, England, in 1958. He studied at Eastbourne College of Art and then worked in advertising for fifteen years before becoming a full-time artist. He has illustrated many children's non-fiction books.

Alex Woolf

Alex Woolf studied history at the University of Essex. He writes information and fiction books for children aged 7 and upwards, including exciting series set in Shakespearean England and a steampunk alternate 19th century.

John Malam

John Malam studied ancient history and archaeology at the University of Bimingham, after which he worked as an archaeologist at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Shropshire. He is now an author, specialising in information books for children. He lives in Cheshire with his wife and their two children.

Fiona Macdonald

Fiona Macdonald studied History at Cambridge University and at the University of East Anglia. She has taught in schools, adult education and colleges, and is the author of numerous books for children on historical topics.
